Stephanie Happening steps forward carrying Step’s relentless drive and Hanie’s delicate fire as one force. System Talks is our story, honest, loud and proud, about why Stephanie matters, how they move, and what their art asks of the world.
Step brings grit: a masculine pulse that kicks open doors and claims the room. Hanie brings a lilt emotional precision and a softness that cuts deep and lingers. They are not a mask or a stage name; they are a living persona born from two alters collaborating inside a system, with their own rhythm, instincts, and rules.
Our songs are testimonies and tools. We write from fracture and from repair, letting trauma deliver the line that becomes chorus and survival become the hook. Lyrics hold true events and the feelings we still carry. Production pairs pop sugar with raw textures; polished highs sit beside brittle lows. Vocals move between Step and Hanie, sometimes within a single line, so multiplicity becomes music, not explanation.
Every beat is an offering, a place to hold contradiction and invite listeners into the work of being more than one thing at once. Coloured pencil sketches, pop-art portraits, and surreal symbolic backgrounds map our internal geography. Stephanie’s visual language signals joy, defiance and lineage all at once. Portraiture centres altered identity as celebration rather than spectacle. Repeating symbols stitch a visual narrative into a growing legacy.
Ritual matters: the cover, the statement, the shared gesture before a showing, each element honours what we carry. We make art that asks to be felt, argued with, loved, and inherited. We are testimony that multiplicity is a source of creative power, building a legacy where survival becomes ceremony and songs become maps for others learning to hold themselves. We do not ask for pity; we ask for the space to be complex and the permission to make that complexity beautiful.
Experience Stephanie Happening, listen, look, and join the ritual.
